Our Mission

Women in Business is an undergraduate organization dedicated to promoting the success of college-aged women seeking to pursue a career in business. By bringing motivated young women together and providing members with the necessary skills for success, this organization strives to break down barriers for women in the business world. WiB was founded in 2017 with three primary goals: to influence, to empower, and to motivate.

WiB & You

As a member of this organization, you will be given the opportunity to form life-long contacts with other motivated young women, who will ultimately become the businesswomen of America in just a few short years, as well as network and connect with current businesswomen around Oxford and the Greater Memphis Area. Through these connections, all members will have the chance to take learning beyond the classroom. LinkedIn presence, resume building, and interview etiquette are all important factors that go into securing your dream job, and Women in Business aims to make these skills no longer unfamiliar or intimidating.

Applicant Requirements

  • Interest in Pursuing a Career in the Business World! A Declared Major or Minor within the School of Accountancy, School of Business, or the School of Journalism is encouraged.

  • 3.3 Minimum GPA
