Member Meeting (2/25/25)

Joanna Harrelson, Assistant Professor of Practice at the University of Mississippi in the Center for Manufacturing Excellence and Founder of JDH Consulting LLC, came speak to us at our meeting on February 25th, 2025 about her experience working in the industry as a woman in a male-dominated field. She offered us lots of invaluable advice including the importance of having a mentor, building a supportive community, and advocating for yourself. We are so grateful that she took the time to talk with us! At this meeting, we also discussed the ins and outs of dressing professionally and distinguishing between business casual and business professional for women. Lastly, we had Poppi for all of our members that attended the meeting to enjoy!
